Donald Trump Debate Evaluation

I evaluated Donald Trump’s recent debate. On his evaluation I made some constructive criticisms; Please do not interrupt when it is not your turn to speak. Although you did interrupt Hillary a lot, you demonstrated active listening. Try harder to control your reactions and respect your opponent. Your volume and enthusiasm/energy was very strong. Great job, Donald.

I personally, have had almost no debate experience, but from Donald’s performance, I learnt a lot. I learnt the importance of controlling your reactions and respecting your opponent, (in which these areas Donald failed to do so). A positive thing I learnt from him was the importance of active listening, energy, enthusiasm, and volume and how to use it properly.

His overall grade is a 2-, which shows that he has little understanding of proper debate etiquette. Although he demonstrated energy and active listening, he fell very short in terms of sensitivity to the audience as well as Hillary, as well as mature behaviour.
